Here is the thing: of course dining in a view point restaurant is an amazing experience, but what about dining totally suspended on air, with he world at your feet? It’s literally, dinning in the sky.

When you decide to get on the big dining table in the sky, you are literally strapped into a chair that can swivel 360 degrees. Once in the air you have nothing under you feet except for a small footrest and the desert air around you.

Dinner in the Sky can be considered as the world’s most unique dining concept, creating some of the finest private dining, cocktail parties, product launches, wedding receptions, and bespoke event experiences on a global scale. During these dinners, a small group of diners will be secured in bucket seats while suspended from a crane. The minimal wait staff – and a host – will also be secured by safety harnesses. There will be daily lunch, brunch and dinner seatings available for guests, served from 11am to midnight.

The Dinner in the Sky concept was introduced 10 years ago in Belgium and Germany and since then, it’s popped up in more than 50 countries around the world. It was last in the UAE in 2013 during a one-night only experience in Abu Dhabi. Ahmed Ishbair, owner and CEO of Dinner in the Sky in the UAE, says, “We are delighted to bring back this exciting experience and look forward to hosting tourists and residents alike.”

The table’s calculations and simulations are tested by TÜV Rhineland. A global provider of technical, safety, and certification services. This obsession for safety is probably one of the reasons why the experience is now operated so many places and got the official authorizations from some of the toughest countries in the world.

The gravity-defying dinner has a dream team when we are talking about the kitchen. The kindness, combined with the unique flavors will add  to the list a reason of why this experience is so unforgettable.

To be honest, the experience of almost flying is hard to actually put into words, but the ones that adjust the most to dinning in the sky is unique and one of a kind.
