It doesn’t matter how hot is the weather of the desert, there is a rainforest growing in Dubai. It is being built the first ultra luxury urban resort destination that will count with its own private rainforest.
A luxury hotel of 53 floors, with more 440 rooms and 280 residences will opened its doors in 2018 under the name of Rosemont Hotel and Residences, representing the new challenge for the mega-hotels in Dubai.
The Rosemont Hotel & Residence, a project designed by AZ Architects, is part of the Curio Collection by Hilton’s chain. The development will count with 92.000 square meters extension, that will host not only the hotel but a residence tower, artificial beaches, a pool with a glass bottom and the famous man-maid rainforest.
The tropical rain forest will have more than 7,000 square meters. The idea is that the guests can enjoy the jungle during the year thanks to the temperature of the place that will always be below the temperature outside.
Moreover, with the latest technology’s innovations that will be implemented, within of the rainforest the guests will enjoy a 360º experience called “Rain Room” where you can be in the rain, but without getting wet.
“Our client’s concept was to create a very unique destination for the city of Dubai, and also to create a project that would be a destination itself, with every possible leisure and entertainment amenity inside the hotel,” says DJ Armin, the main architect and manager partner of ZAS Architects Dubai.
